I am announcing today that I am suspending my campaign for state senate. 

I am deeply honored to have had this opportunity, and there is so much that I want to accomplish on behalf of our community. However, due to personal and professional reasons, now is not the time to me to step up and serve in this capacity. 

Thank you to all of the community members who have supported me and this campaign. I truly believe that we are fighting for the right things; protecting Paid Family and Medical Leave, Healthcare for All, support for families, fully funded education birth through higher ed, and a clean and healthy environment. We all deserve a future where we all have the freedom to thrive. I believe this future is possible, but know we must fight like hell for it. 

I have always been in community doing this work and organizing for the future we deserve. That will not change. While I am no longer running for state senate, I will be fighting alongside of you to do as much good as we can for as many people as we can.
